Church located in the main square of Salvaterra de Magos, cm construction begun in 1296 and then with several interventions. In the old sacristy of the tile panels has a cartouche with the date 1725. Inside, one of the ship has a fake wooden Vault ceiling painting depicted his patron saint, São Paulo, towering to the skies guarded by a group of angels.

The Chapel and falconry are the only elements that remain of the former Royal Palace where the Royal family travelled, especially in hunting season. Falconry, single element in Portugal, is a building with approximately 305 niches, to guard the birds used in the training of hawks.

A mannerist construction, rebuilt in the 18th century. The interior walls are covered by white and blue tiles of the 17th century that picture scenes of the life of the Virgin Mary. On the back of the church there is a eucaliptus wood that ends in a fountain, the Fountain of Our Lady or Saint Fountain, where, according to the legend, Our Lady of Atalaia appeared. That is where the traditional symbolic "lavagens" (cleansing) still take place during the main popular celebrations in the parish, in the last Sunday of August.

The altar of the chancel has a golden carvings retable and Solomon columns that surround the painted pannels that picture Saint Margareth of Cortona and Saint Martin of Tours, of the 17th century. On the ceiling there is the National Shield of Dom Sebastião painted.

A church with a geometry of the cement architecture. Somewhat unique in its plan, reminding us of the "Estado-Novo" (New State, the right wing political regime that was in power before the revolution of April 25, 1974), the dome and lateral walls of the high altar are decorated with paintings that relate to the life of Saint Isidro.
