Church with longitudinal drawing, composed by three naves and five roof trusses. Worthy of notice, inside, is the baroque baptistery dated from the XVIII century with a marble altar piece, unique in the Algarve region.
Walking tour with 2 Km and a maximum altitude of 504 meters. After 1 Km walking by tarred road, there’s a beaten track on the right side leading to the forest. These first km are relaxing and the hiker may renew the oxygen and drink some of the chalybeate water in on of the fountains along the way and also visit the remains of an old sepulchre.
Narrow streets of stone, with prominent chimneys and furnaces, bent roofs, whitewashed walls, yards and “poiais”. Going out for a walk leads you to tranquillity, as the pure air carries the scent of rock-rose, rosemary and brushwood. The historical centre of São Brás de Alportel has ground, whitewashed houses with a traditional architecture and the palacelike buildings of the former manufactures and tradesmen of cork, with façades cored with glazed tiles, carved ashlar masonry and iron balconies.
Bicycle track with 20 Km. This are ways right in the heart of the mountain. It is an adventure full of surprises, with sudden slopes and steep hills. The itineraries are adapted to BTT riders and others.
