Modernist movie theater, with a longitudinal rectangular plant, consisting of two dissimilar bodies and with terrace and roof coverings. It was opened in 1949 and refurbished between 2000 and 2001. It is a theatre of scene set in opposition, composed of a living room with capacity for 500 people, distributed by audience, 1 and 2 balconies and a projection booth and a ballroom.

In 1834 it was extinct, reopening only in 1993, after refurbished, passing the work here the Biblioteca Municipal António Botto.

The building features a trapezoidal plan with two floors and roofs coverage of four waters, some circular skylights.
