Building constructed in 40 years of the 20th century, on the site of a demolished housing existed in 1939. The post Office of Abrantes were inaugurated in 1943, continuing to work at this location to this day.
Building built on the site where once existed the convent of Nossa Senhora da Graça, demolished in 1901 to make way for the construction of the current building. Opened in 1904, housing initially some public offices. After working as prison, Casa do Povo, finance and as Civil and commercial Registration, was inaugurated here the school of technology of Abrantes, in 1999.
This House is part of the urban ambience characterises homogeneous set of ancient Abrantes. The classification integrates real estate with such differentiated elements like wrought iron balconies, the stonework of the spans, cornices and volumes.

Convent founded in 1526 the chapel of Nossa Senhora da Luz, and later, in 1571, built the Ark on Thursday. This second building, only a few ruins of the main building and its aqueduct. In 1601, was built for the third time, in the Mount of Abrantes. In 1834, after the religious orders were extinct, was voted to the abandonment.
