The primitive foundation of the Church of Saint Pedro dates back to the 17th-18th centuries and has three naves with with an arch that stood on columns. Totally destroyed by the earthquake of 1755, only vestiges of the old portal on the facade remain. This medieval fair usually takes place in the month of July and continues for ten days. It recreates the Middle Age with hundreds of actors, with the castle in the background, on a journey to the past. There are also several "tasquinhas" where one may savour some tidbits and tents where artisans work live.
