One of the three doors to the Buçaco forest. The Carmelite friars always kept this door closed, and it was only reopened in the 19th century. It underwent renovation work in 1872.
Dating back to the 17th/18th century, this windmill is located in a high and windy place. There is a plaque next to the door, alluding to the fact that it was the command post of the English General Crawford in the Battle of Buçaco.
