Solar dos Marcos is housed in a 18TH century building, that belonged to Dom Manuel Martins Manso, Bishop of Guarda. On the facade, which bears the coat of arms of the Marcos family, are visible features of a noble House in the region of Trás-os-Montes. The Inn has, in its interior, a chapel and a garden-orchard. Promotes Leisure programs include tours in the arribes del Duero, guided tours of typical villages and traditional activities.

Rebuilded from an ancient elementary school all in ground-floor and wood walls, Casa das Arribas is situated in the river slope, surrounded by juniper-tree, in nature communion, with all conveniences and a wonderful sight over Bemposta lagoon, in the International Douro river.
