This Park extends for about 1.5 miles along the route of the rio Fresno. It is a recreation area opened in 2007 that offers hiking trails on the banks and a dock with support equipment. Along the River, you can see windmills, fountains and Mills recovered.

To meet the River Douro, can choose to make this cruise international waters environmental, presenting a different landscape according to season. The cruise starts and ends in International biological station, next to the dam of Miranda do Douro and the border with Zamora (Spain). Along the way, you can see an impressive variety of fauna and flora.

Former Cathedral in Miranda do Douro, now serves as Miranda do Douro parish church. It was founded in 1552 by King João III, designed by Gonçaalo de Torralva and Miguel de Arruda. It is notable for being completely Mannerist in style: the facade with a Mannerist door, the towers with the bells, the altars, the altarpieces, the arched roof and the row of chairs. The primitive Castle remain a part of the Citadel, some panos of walls interrupted by cubelos and the door of Treason. The walls of the Castle are some entries, the door of the Senhora do Amparo, the False Door and the Wicket. Still standing, but badly damaged, is donjon.

Fortified village situated on the way down to the River Douro, which was used during the Roman era as a place of passage. The excavations have been discovered several Roman gravestones in the chapel of St. John, which is 1500 metres.

The Parque de Campismo de Santa Luzia, located near the Centre of Miranda do Douro, enjoys a great location, next to the majestic Douro River. The most relevant points of interest are without doubt the Castle and the Cathedral of Mirando do Douro, as well as the Castro of new village.
