The "Feira dos Capões", well known for being the fair of the castrated roosters, takes place at the Freamunde parish on december 13th. It is the only event of that kind in Portugal and it has taken place at least since the 15th century and it was oficialized by a king's decree on August 3rd 1719. According to the specialists, the fact that a rooster is castrated makes him fatter and stimulates his growth, thus making his meat better tasting. Two muncipal swimming pools: one indoors and one outdoors. They have a reception desk, balnearies, sauna, indoors and outdoors bars and a gymnasium. There are swimming lessons and swimming and water polo competitions.

A maintenance circuit with an area of 20 000 sqaure metres. Besides the green areas, there is a march/run track with about 900 sqaure metres and maintenance points. There are regional championships of cross country and there are two areas for the malha game (a traditional Portuguese game, a bit similar to the French pétanque).

A maintenance circuit located near the centre of the parish. It has an area of 32 500 square metres and has wood equipments destined to maintenance, individual or in a group.

The S. Braz mini-circuit is located in a picnic park, with a total area of 10 000 square metres. It is divided into 4 main points with pedestrian walks. It is located by the Red Cross, which is an incentive for using all the equipments.
