Old tiles depicting the grape harvest and the gentes of the Douro. Are also a tribute to the Marquis of Pombal, responsible for having delimited the demarcated Douro Region, in 1756, currently the oldest in the world. Peso da Régua is considered the capital of the demarcated Douro region.

Between Peso da Régua and Pinhão, get out at Covalinhas to reach the São Leonardo peak and its chapel. This space was an inspiration to the poet Miguel Torga, with its views of the Douro valley. The river, way down below, slowly flows to the mouth. The rugged hillsides and the peaks. The nearest green vineyards disguise the dominant grey.

Baroque building dating from the 18th century. Composed of two floors, presents, in the piano nobile, Bay Windows with iron railings based on carved stone medallions. The main façade boasts a stone weapons. Inside are the roofs of mixer in woodwork.

Roman fortified village, with two imposing lines of walls in shale, identifying an access door on the inner wall. Note-If the mosaics representing fish in a bathtub with about a meter of depth, which archaeological excavations uncovered.

The Douro Line, with a total of about 200 kilometers, goes through, in part of the section, very close to the river, offering a wonderful view over the river and the vineyard slopes. There is also, on Saturdays from June to October, a steam locomotive dating from 1925 that runs the section between Régua and Tua stations, on a time travel... a slice of regional salt cake, to the sound of traditional songs. At the Pinhão station taste or buy wines and gourmet products from the region, and admire the fantastic tile panels on the outside of the building.

A quality restaurant where one must ask previously for the dishes. Almost all the dishes are prepared in the wood oven. The speciality is the roasted lamb.

Cacho d'Oiro presents itself with the cozy ambiance of a simple House, where you can enjoy a well diversified and regional menu (about forty dishes per day). The wine list is equally diverse, with emphasis on the Douro wines. The walls feature paintings depicting the Douro.

The São Domingos Farm is a restaurant entirely in wood, with quite a friendly service that welcomes free guided tours of the Castelinho wine cellars. It has quite a diversified menu of fish and meat.

Facing the Douro river, first floor with river views and an excellent architectural recovery. The restaurant and the bar have a modern decor in contrast with the classic façade and astounding views of the Douro river. It has a typical regional menu and an amazing wine list with 95% of Douro wines, 30 white, 150 red and 25 port wines.
