This village is currently submerged by the Vilarinho da Furna Dam. When the dam is emptied for cleaning or when the water level falls, during drought periods, one may still see the houses, the streets and the walls of the old village.
The Trilho dos Moinhos e Regadios Tradicionais (Tradiktional Mills and Watering Areas Trail) crosses the rural villages of Lagoa, Sequeirós and Pergoim. It is a small, 9 km long, trail, that lasts about 4 hours. A special note to the belvedere at the Alto do Espigão and to the old outdates roads.

It crosses several most beautiful belvederes, such as the Fraga Negra (Black Cliff), the Boneca (Doll), the Mirantes Velho and Novo (Old and New Belvederes) and the Penedo da Freira (Nun's Rock).
A small, 10.5 km long, pedestrian trail that lasts about 4 hours. It stretches along the southwest hillside of the Caldo River's valley. One may visit places of great religious, historical and cultural interest. A special note to the "furnas" (a kind of small geysers) and to the fojo do lobo.
A small, about 5 km long, pedestrian trail that lasts approximately 5 hours among cliffs. This circular trail aims to reach the mythical archaeological site named "Fraga da Cidade" (City Cliff), imortalized by the name of Calcedónia.
