The restaurant Carvalheira, near Ponte de Lima, is a rustic, very comfortable room, with a fireplace for the colder days, ideal to enjoy the quality of the flavors of regional cuisine.

This is an important manor house composed by a tower made on the fifteen hundreds, to which in the XVIII century it was attached a two floors construction and on the same century another building was coupled, sided by two towers. The connection it is done through the stairs and the tower. On the inside it is possible to see the seventeen hundreds marks and design and a significant library. The classification includes The Avenue de Carvalhos (oaks) which is spread from the house until the river.

The restaurant Bocados occupies the ground floor of its proprietors' house, with lovely garden views. The menu is nver fixed and changes according to the market's offers. The meal is composed of a diversified set of small dishes and, lastly, a larger dish. It is the Bocados menu.

The old kitchen restaurant is dedicated especially to the Portuguese regional cuisine and endowed with a generous ancient fireplace, perfect for the colder days. Among the specialties stands out the goat and suckling pig, baked in a wood-fired oven, followed by beans smoked and cured meat. For dessert, opt for the traditional Abbot Priscos pudding.
