Located in a privileged place in the city of Fafe, here you can enjoy the most beautiful views of the city, enjoying the sun, in addition, of course, to the various water entertainment.

Known as "the strangest in the world", Casa do Penedo is located in the Serras de Fafe. It was built in 1974 to be used as a holiday home, being perfectly integrated into the landscape. Built almost entirely in rock, it arouses the curiosity of many visitors, who can now opt for some experiences on site, such as lunches or guided tours.

Museum remodeled and integrated into the Municipal House of Culture. It features several themed rooms, such as the memory room, diaspora or knowledge, among others. In all of them, the aim is to show the historical importance of migratory movements.

The Municipal House of Culture, located in the old Casa do Santo Novo building, is a space that houses several museums and various initiatives linked to art and culture. Here it is possible to visit the Fafe Press Museum, which aims to preserve and conserve the memories of local media. The Museum of Migrations and Communities is also present here, with the aim of raising awareness of the phenomenon of emigration in Portugal.

This building is a testament to imported architecture from the beginning of the 20th century. It was designed by a German technician for the Fafe Fiação e Tecidos company. Made up of several small volumes, the tallest in the form of a tower, it has roofs and terraces with wooden eaves. The garden space is delimited by an iron fence.

The Ruivães e Moreira do Rei River Beach is a bucolic space, surrounded by nature and rusticity. It has tables and benches for picnics.

The Queimadela dam and reservoir is supplied by the Vizela river, in the Ave basin. It offers leisure spaces and areas for sport fishing. The practice of non-polluting sports is allowed.

Distributed along the banks of the Vizela River, Aldeia do Pontido provides a unique rural tourism experience. After three decades of total isolation, the village was completely rebuilt. Here, the appeal of Nature is irresistible, making it perfect for diving in the clear and refreshing waters of the Queimadela reservoir. The accommodation offer is limited to five restored houses, which still respect the original design and materials. Discover the Mill and Pisão, which the village's inhabitants once used to produce essential goods. And there is much more to discover.

On this track, which results from the transformation of an old railway line between Fafe and Guimarães, it is possible to walk, run, skate and cycle. The 14 kilometers of track offer pleasant landscapes and fresh air, in full contact with Nature. Traffic is prohibited for vehicles with motors.

Trilho do Vento is a short walking route that starts and ends at the Terras Altas de Fafe Wind Farm substation, in Lagoa, in Fafe. It was created with the aim of improving knowledge about wind energy. Along its 14 kilometers, the entire process of creating wind energy is explained, from the formation of wind to its use to generate electricity. The route also serves to promote emblematic places and local historical heritage.
