Igreja Paroquial de São Brás

The originally built Gothic temple dates back to the 16th century. In the 16th century, construction of the current temple began by Sir Teotónio de Bragança. It underwent several modifications over the centuries, with the last restoration being carried out in the 60s of the 20th century. A highlight is the large dimensions of the temple, out of step with the scale of the village.

Baroque church that maintains its original design, consisting of a very simple nave. It was built during the reign of Kings João V and José I. Highlights include the pulpit built in schist and the typical tiles of the Real Fábrica de Lisboa. The portal displays a marbled medallion of the order of penance, symbolized by the cord surrounding two tables.

A veneration station with a modest construction, built at the end of the 17th century by the Brotherhood of Senhor Jesus dos Passos. They are made of masonry and the frames are made of slate. There are seven Steps, which are distributed according to the route of the procession held every year, and are decorated for this purpose.

The walls and towers remain from the 17th century fortifications to this day. The consistent medieval wall is made of marble and granite and is torn by several doors. It has a triangular plan with square towers. Inside the walls, the Casa da Guarda and the old Town Hall stand out. The military complex retains, despite being quite damaged, a unique and picturesque appearance.

Neoclassical Church of longitudinal plant, consisting of a nave and a chancel with barrel vault. In the early 19th century receives a tiled flooring. Between 1976 and 1984 the Hermitage is used as the headquarters of the local music band, and in 1984 had renovation works and was transformed into the funeral parlour.
