Fitting with medieval atmosphere in this small town, there are several carts that make tourism tours, with different routes and prices. For instance, a trip along the centr of town, with a duration of 34 minutes, may cost 45 euros, while a trip to the Aqueduto das Águas (Water Aqueduct), that may last ten minutes, will cost around 20 euros.
A pedestrian trail along the south bank of the lagoon of Óbidos, the most well preserved area duw to the few tourists there. The traject may include the passing by areas with recreational boats, the fishermen's village of Ponta Branca, the Ponta do Espichel, the river beach of Bom Sucesso, among other places surrounding the lagoon of Óbidos.
A pedestrian trail that crosses the Parque cinegético, where one may enjoy the natural beauties of the Várzea da Rainha. One may also view deer and other animals, as well as rest on some garden benches and drink water from water-drinkers.
This medieval fair usually takes place in the month of July and continues for ten days. It recreates the Middle Age with hundreds of actors, with the castle in the background, on a journey to the past. There are also several "tasquinhas" where one may savour some tidbits and tents where artisans work live.
