A trail accessible to all along 3.5 km of green landscapes and natural beauty. It is circular and starts by the Sousa river and passes by the Santa Comba brook. It lasts one and a half hours.
A linear path between the Salto and the Sernande's Mother Church. It lasts about two hours along 4.2 km. One can be in touch with nature and observe a rural village as is the case with Sernande. The trail is called "Peregrinação" (Pilgrimage) because the procession of Our Lady of Salto passes here.
A landscape and cultural walk that lasts about two and a half hours. It is a small trail albeit with some declivities. Ideal for observing a group of 13 water mills, the grey herons that have their nests here, viewing the banks of the Sousa river and, with due precautions, swimming.
It has been eleven years already that the Paredes parish becomes a true stage for the most diverse art forms. Art, literature, poetry, music, theatre, craftswork and folklore represinte the six parishes of the Sousa Valley, with a program that has been most successful and has brought to Paredes important names of the arts in Portugal, such as Raúl Solnado and Maria João and Mário Laginhas. This projects helps musicians of the area that lack money or opportunities to be known nationwide. Organized by the Paredes Town Hall that has already helped bands such as the Clinger, Sally Lune and Zoe.
