A public library founded in 1988, with a wide collection of documents.

The primitive foundation of the Church of Saint Pedro dates back to the 17th-18th centuries and has three naves with with an arch that stood on columns. Totally destroyed by the earthquake of 1755, only vestiges of the old portal on the facade remain. A special not to the high altar with a magnificent golden carved baroque retable and a painting that represents Saint Peter receiving the Heaven's Keys from Jesus.

A museum that functions in the Convent of Saint Miguel das Gaeiras, with a wide collection of agricultural objects.

A museum located at the Church of São João Baptista (Saint John the Baptist) that aims to promote religious art works and heritage. It has temporary exhibitions.

Currently, this space houses a permanent exhibitions of over one hundred objects, namely a collection of religious art (paintings and sculptures from the 15th century to the 18th century) and th collection of Frederico Pinto Basto "memories of the Peninsular War". There is also a section devoted to the parish of Óbidos.
