The Museum has a room that pictures the office of Soares Victor, an important character of this place. The jars used by Francisco Manuel Bartolomeu, that last water seller in Messejana. It also has parts of typical Alentejo houses, such as kitchens, the bedroom and the sowing room.
An old Central of the Algares Mine, now turned into a museum. The building was constructed in the 1950s and the central started functioning in 1952. In the early 1990s it was deactivated and only the Central of the building of the Mina do Moinho (Mill Mine) remained working. The complex may be visited if previously requested from the Town Hall or the Tourism Office.
This museum is located in an old olive oil press. The collection is from donations by people of the Aljustrel parish as well as the ethnographic collection of an Ervidel's farmer.
This museum keeps a part of the local archaeological and ethnographic findings. It contains artefacts used by the several peoples who lived here, from the remotest days to our times.
The Biblioteca Municipal de Aljustrel integrates the network of libraries and Public reading is a modern space, alive and functional, which aims to gather, organize, and disseminate information on various supports available. It offers an auditorium.
