Ega
A very old village, conquered to the moors by Dom Afonso Henriques. Later, it was given to the Order of Christ and the title of Count of Ega was created in the 18th century. The villag is located in a lowland by the Ega river and boasts the church, the pillory and some 17th and 19th centuries houses with coats of arms.
