Ponte Rainha Santa Isabel
The Queen Santa Isabel Bridge, designed by engineer António Reis, is the latest road crossing over the River Mondego, consisting of two lanes to three lanes in each direction. Its inauguration in 2004, allowed faster access to the zone of the Valley of flowers and the Polo II da Universidade de Coimbra.
