Quinta das Lavandas
A Quinta das Lavandas, em Castelo de Vide, é um agro-turismo que tem as lavandas como mote. Podiam ter plantado maçã de Portalegre, cereja de S. Julião ou castanha de Marvão. Procuraram os DOP (produtos com Denominação de Origem Protegida), mas acabaram na lavanda. Uma planta surpreendente e que tornou este turismo rural um espaço de uma beleza arrebatadora. São sete quartos num ambiente de calma e tranquilidade a três quilómetros de Castelo de Vide. Além dos óleos essenciais de lavanda, recentemente avançaram para a produção de azeite. Estas são atividades em que todos os hóspedes são convidados a participar. Com uma pequena grande diferença: os proprietários, Teresa Tomé e Estevão de Moura recebem os convidados como se estivessem (e estão) em sua casa.
