Igreja Paroquial de Vilar
The parish church of Vilar, dedicated to Nossa Senhora da Guia, is a granite temple whose construction austerity contrasts with the ornamental richness that houses in its interior. The walls and the floor was paved with Flagstone with graves do bring out the colorful altars in carved and gilded housing religious imaginary. In this temple include a mural, a panel representing San Antonio and Santo Antão, and an exceptional altarpiece with a painting representing Saint Louis and São Pedro Gonçalves Telmo.
It is in this church are celebrated, in addition to the Sunday masses, religious crafts of the feast in honour of Nossa Senhora da Guia, which is held annually to 15 August.
