Igreja Paroquial de Sapiãos /Igreja de São Pedro
Sapiãos parish church, dedicated to St Peter, is a temple of longitudinal-oriented plant ENE\/OSO.
The main façade has a rectangular door with ribbed pilasters and capitals stylized vegetal, the top has a curved pediment with a niche, with two triangular spires complemented with ball and the central part is surmounted by an oculus.
Inside the high altar and side altars, in gilded, housing the main religious imaginary local devotions. On the side walls, next to the triumphal arch, a niche formed by a semi-circular arch, there are two screens: the purgatory (Gospel) and the adoration of the child Jesus (Epistola).
This is the Church that Sunday masses are celebrated and, among others, religious crafts the party of God, the most important festivity of the village.
