Capela de São José
The chapel of Romaínho, built on a rocky outcrop at the entrance to the village, is dedicated to St. Joseph. It is a granite building, of rectangular plan, oriented Southeast\/Northwest, with a porch supported by columns. The main façade has a rectangular portal, with frame in relief, flanked by rectangular Windows, also with frame in relief. The lintel of the door contains inscriptions: "MARIA IOSEPH IESVS\/SAVE TIESVM LENEDITVM\/REGINAE ERVCTVM ... NOBIS POIoICEXI IVMOS ENDE ". The stretching of the gable has a Bell Tower, decorated with volutes, crowned with a Latin cross. Inside this Chapel stands the high altar in gilt which houses religious imaginary.
