In the warmer months, there is nothing like a well spent afternoon by the sea or a pool with family or friends. The offer at the national level is varied, so All About Portugal has selected 40 outdoor pools all over the country, mostly municipal, to cool off on this holiday or a break. Free or affordable, there are pools for all tastes: oversized, with side attractions – like slides – and even some less sought-after. The hard part will be choosing where to go.

The outdoor pools are open in the summer, closing on Mondays. The indoor pool is only closed on Sundays and public holidays. These are spaces with good conditions and infrastructure.
