Mata da Margaraça
The Margaraça Woods are one of the best examples of natural vegetation on schist hillsides in the centre of the country. A place of rare beauty with chestnut trees, oak trees and more. Thera are also some interesting lizard species. It belongs to the Protected Landscape of the Açôr Mountain.
