Vilarelhos
A village that was peopled only in the 10th century, Vilarelhos is located on the left bank of the Vilariça brook. The two manors with coats of arms that once existed here, the house of the Mendonças and the house of the Morgados of Rio Torto, were rather wide. A special note to the village's superb olive oil of this village (among the best in the country) where the inhabitants are farmers and cattle raisers. The craftswork includes iron and basket making. Besides the manors with their coats of arms, the mother church, the chapels of Saint Tomé and of Our Lady of Rosário and the Hermitage of Our Lady of Anúncios (a belvedere) are well worth a visit.
