Estação Arqueológica de Cabeço do Vouga
It is a fortified enclosure, Castelium Marnelis, by the river Vouga, in the XVI Roman Itinerary LXXIV Mile between Braga and Lisbon. Archaeological excavations uncovered fragmented areas of walled sections and four semicircular plant buildings. Due to the dimensions of the wall, its foundations are visible to the naked eye.
