The Teófilo Braga garden, paying homage to the poet, writer and teacher with the same name, is also known by Parada Garden for being the former yard of the quarter parade. The statue paying homage to the feminine popular rebellion of Maria da Fonte, placed in the garden in 1920, is the origin of its other name, besides Campo de Ourique for it is the only one in this area. At the beginning of the decade the garden was recovered, equipped with new fittings and keeping some patrimonial elements. It is a tree area with two lakes and a playground.

The gardens have several parts: camellias, flowers and boxwood. They have cedar tunnels with lanes and a water mirror with 2000 m2. The park that surrounds the garden was conceived by the architect Ribeiro Teles. The baroque palace (National Monument), by Nicolau Nasoni, was built in the 18th century.

With 8 ha, it is the oldest green area of the Parque Forestal de Monsanto. The net of ways in the woods is over 50 years and the dominant tree species are the large eucalyptus. It has a restaurant, playground, a swimming pool and fitness circuit.

The woods belong to the Eastern Park of Lisbon. About 10 ha, with small narrow streets and a picnic area. It has mostly stone pines but it also has Buçaco cedar trees and cypresses.

This park belongs to the House Venture Terra, classed as a Public Interest Construction. The building, by the architect Venture Terra, was awarded the Valmor Pize in 1909. It may only be visited under appointment.

Located near the square Dona Estefânea, the garden stands out for having many trees and for being quite peaceful.

Garden paying homage to the republican historian and archaeologist Anselmo Braamcamp Freire, although it is known among the inhabitants as Campo de Sant' Anna. It has trees, such as a cedar of Himalayas, a secular tree known as lovers’ tree. There are some statues, such as the statue of Sousa Martins. It has an esplanade, a multifunction pavilion, playground and lake.

The set of the house and garden is one of the most expressive of Portuguese art from the romantic and naturalist period. The gardens, recovered in 1992, English style from the XIX century, have an exotic and romantic atmosphere with a lake and a bandstand. It also has sculptures by Portuguese artists of that time such as Bordalo Pinheiro or Columbano. Dated from 1849, the farm is also called "Quinta do Beau-Séjour". Inside is worthy of notice the decoration at the dinning room made by the brothers of Bordalo Pinheiro, working under the painter Francisco Vilaça. Enjoy the luxurious stucco …

The garden is placed in a former cloister of the Santa Luzia Church. A glazed tile panel representing the conquest of Lisbon stands out in the wall of the church. The bust of Júlio de Castilho, opened in 1929 is worthy of notice.
