A pedestrian trail that may start at Pitões das Júnias and end in the village of Paredes do Rio, on the eastern side of the National Park Peneda-Gerês. The trail includes the passage by the ruins of the old monastery of Saint Maria das Júnias, the monumental waterfalls at the Campesinho Brook and the houses at Parada do Outeiro, by the dam. Although the first buildings date back to the 9th century, the remains that are visible today belong to buildings from the 17th and 18th centuries. The majestic Johannine-style church of Mafra and the Mannerist cloister are a special highlight of the monastery. Also, noteworthy are the tombs of Santa Teresa and Santa Sancha, the imposing baroque chair, the neoclassical organs and their grille, the paintings by Pasquale Parente and the stone and gilded altarpieces.

Situated in the Centre of the Largo do Toural, it is a circular fountain with several fountains and with the image of Maria da Fonte in bronze.

This building has medieval origins and it was built in the XIII century. It was rebuilt late, on the 16th century. The fifteen hundreds façade of this temple dedicated to Santa Maria da Graça (Saint Mary of Grace), it is possible to see two bell towers. Inside, it is worth to visit the gold leafed carved altarpieces from the 17th and 18th centuries and the lateral walls covered in blue and white tiles from the 18th Century.
