The richness of this course is on diversity of vegetation, which provides panoramic views at strategic points along the route, and on avifauna inhabiting the margins of the Tagus River. The castle of Amieira and ribeira da Maia are also included in this route of average difficulty.

A village with several old granite houses. Its cultural heritage includes the pillory that stands on a rock and has four gargoyles on the chapiter and the mostly romanesque motheer church. A special note to the Rocha da Forca, Orca de Porto Lamoso and crucifixes as well. The local craftswork includes straw objects.

Para a execução dos arcos de festa, cuja tradição se mantêm viva nesta zona, os artesãos tiram os desenhos de fotografias de elementos da natureza, construindo as maquetas. Os arcos são iluminados e na decoração predominam as cores vivas.

Mantas de enfeite, utilizadas na decoração das camas. Existem seis variantes: fuzis e quadradinhos, olho-de-perdiz, barras "montanhac" (quadrados, riscas, amendoins e losangos). Estas variantes são feitas nas cores naturais de branco, castanho e beige.
