The Unhais River is one of the many tributaries of the Zêzere river and flows along the hillsides of the parish of Pampilhosa da Serra.

The Zêzere river has its sping on the Estrela Mountain. It is the second major river that flows exclusively in Portugal, after the Mondego river.

A dome shaped dam on the Ceira river, located on the Mondego river basin. It is located on the hillside and it is surrounded by cliffs. It is excellent for mountain climbing and mountaineering.

A dam on the Unhais river, a tributary of the Zêzere river right bank, with a magnificent landscape from the wall. The most common fish species are the nase, the barbel and the carp.

This municipality is rich in water resources, namely in waterfalls. This waterfall is located in Vale Covo and is rather high (327 metres). It is fit for recreational fishing in the Unhais river.

Open to sailing from its mouth to Odemira, the Mira River is known for the beauty of its estuary. It has a significant variety of habitats and cultures, rice fields, sand banks, beaches and cliffs.

Situated on the banks of the river Minho, Salvaterra (across the river) as a backdrop, the Termas de Monção are surrounded by greenery. The tall trees, the paths of Earth and water fountains invite the invigorating walks all over the Park. The medicinal waters of afeções respiratory tract, rheumatic diseases and Musculoskeletal and skin afeções.

The Mondego river is the longest Portuguese river. It starts on the Estrela Mountain, at an approximate altitude of 1425 metres and flows to the Atlantic Ocean after 258 kilometres, near Fugueira da Foz. Its tributaries are the Dão, on the right bank, and the Alva, Ceira and Arunca, on the left bank.
