Cultural center that has music school, ballet school, rancho folclórico da Guarda, the set Rosie and the Choir of the guard. Is a space where all of these groups rehearse and meet. Hosts temporary exhibitions still, shows and conferences.

O cesteiro, em Gonçalo, trabalha sentado no chão, fazendo cestos de encaixe, malas de forma, "guisas", "patifes", todos eles adaptados às funções a que se destinam. A tradição diz que há mais de 300 anos que a maioria da população se dedica à cestaria. Esta freguesia foi o fulcro da cestaria fina, tendo a maioria dos cesteiros que existem em vários locais do país, tiveram as suas origens nesta localidade.

This is one of the small villages of the Natural Park of the Estrela Mountain, at an altitude of 580 metres. Most of its inhabitants are farmers these days, even though the culture of linen used to be an activity until quite recently. The houses are made of granite, which is an architectural feature of this region. Nearby, one may visit the Caldeirão dam or practise mountaineering.
