A wide stretch of sand, with good surfing waves and clean water. There are several typical restaurants with many fish and shellfish dishes.

Given the bedrock of cloths of wall, the fortifications of the Citadel are irregular route. Inside the fortress are the chapel of Santa Barbara, baluarte round, large cistern, the bunkers and the whole parade grounds. The Citadel served as a political prison since the 18th century until the 20th century.

Among the animals, a special note to the presence of lizards, namely the ocellated lizard, and among the plants, many herbal species.

Located next to praia da Consolação, was built in the mid 17TH century. The door is surmounted by the Royal Arms and the bridge over the moat is supported by two barrel-vaulted galleries.

A small port, located by the fishing docks and the pier from where the boats to the Berlengas islands depart. It has paid parking, a few shops and fine restaurants with typical dishes.

A bay attended by tourists, families and youngsters. The Baleal is a treasure for those who enjoy diving and radical sports. It has a small island, people by fishermen and rather touristy. There are many quality estaurants that serve typical dishes. The nightly animation is guaranteed.
