This restaurant is decorated by antiques related to several professions. Located in a peaceful area, it serves mostly fish, cod "à chefe", clam "cataplana", shellfish, monkfish and wreckfish rices accomapnied by a banana croquette. "Alentejano" pudding and pumpkin pudding are recommnded for dessert.
The ideal placee for a light meal. The grilled fish, the shellfish, the fried moray, the octopus, fish eggs and whelks salads are recommended but there are also meat options.
The octopus and whelk salads or the goose barnacles are fine entries. Then, one may proceed with the whelk "feijoada" (a dish of beans), "carne de porco à Alentejana" (a dish of the Alentejo region with pork meat and clams), shellfish "açorda" and grilled bass and white seabream. The "doce da casa", based on condensed milk, coffee, cream and cookies stands out among the desserts.
A quite space, fit for enjoying the proximity of the sea and for savouring several grilled fish dishes. The octopus rice is also quite requested, as well as the cod "á casa" and grilled cod dishes. Another option would be the pork meat "à Alentejana". Almond and pine nut pies for dessert.
Works for more than 25 years under the management of Sir C.p.. The pork loin with clams, fish soup and baked bream are the three most requested specialties at home. In desserts is the clear tart with cinnamon or almond pie.
