A rather large beach albeit somewhat rocky.In the surrounding areas thre are a gaming area and a few restaurants/shellfish houses.

The Oporto Excentric Hostel is a space themed with a unique concept: customized rooms and decorated with various points of interest in the city, such as the Serralves Foundation, the Casa da Música, the Park of the city, the São Bento Station, the Café Majestic, among others. It is located in the Centre of Porto, near the City Park and the beach, with good access to the metro and bus. In the same space, in addition to the hostel, there is also the design agency Inez Borges and a store.

Until April 2005 the Municipal Library Florbela Espanca was located in the Palacete de Trevões (Trevões Manor). On May 2005 it moved to a new building, by the architect Alcino Soutinho, that has a reading room with papers and magazines, an adults room/local fund, infantole and juvenile, audiovisual; some books may be borrowed and there are photocopies, internet access, reading animation and library.

A beach that was recently remodelled, with a rather pleasant esplanade.It has modern terraces where light meals are served and that are the meting point of many youngsters in the evening.There are several quality shellfish houses and restaurants in the area.

The Solar (manor) is located in an 18th century house, bult by the Fransciscan. During the dayit stages several events whilte in the evening it functions as a bar with pop/rock music. It has a fantastic covered terrace where delicious tidbits are served.
