A contemporary representation of the old manuelin fountain of the 16th century that brought water to the population of Lagos.

Ancient belt of walls built for military purposes. Completed in the 14th century, it comprised a borough of orthogonal urbanism with a "flat street" and respective lanes, which corresponds to the primitive nucleus of the city of Lagos, known as Viladentro.

This is the first of seven still existing strongholds that were part of the so-called Nova Cerca (or Segunda Cerca) of town's walls. It is a poligonal stronghold with three canon places and a ramp, dating back to the 16th century.

A monument in honour of the fighters who gave their lives for Portugal. It is made of a stone crucifix on the top of a pillar, surrounded by iron chains and flowers.

The portico, made of Silves's sandstone, has several arches sided by decorated manuelin columns. It is classified as a Building of Public Interest.

A hermitage with an only rectangular nave, with a Renaissance high altar which may have probably been an isolated temple. It was built in the 12th century and went through requalification works recently.

This church was rebuilt in 1769 by orders of the command of the Infantry Regiment of Lagos, in order to become a chapel for them. The riches and profusion of the golden carvings on the high altar and the side walls, make this church one of the main examples of the Portuguese baroque. The wooden ceiling imitates a barrel-vault with a perspective painting. On the side walls one can admire 8 paintings that allude to Saint Anthony's miracles. The patron saint stands on the altar.

This temple was built beetween the 15th and 16th centuries and later rebuilt following a fire. In its interior, a special note to the images of Our Lady of Assunção and Our Lady of Piedade. In the sacristy there is a set of images of the 18th century, with a special note to the image of Jesus as a Child, wearing clothes of the time.
