Igreja Matriz da Aldeia de Joanes / Igreja de São Pedro

This is a Romanic church with a longitudinal plan, composed by one only nave, main chapel and one attached chapel. It is thought that it was built on the 13th century and afterwards it was modified on the 16th and 18th century. It is highly adulterated maintaining the original construction with a perfectly vaulted doorway.

Late-Baroque church of longitudinal plant consisting of a single nave, a chancel narrower and lower and an attached building where formerly operated a hospital and currently runs a nursing home. It was rebuilt in 1758 over an old church dated 1501. In 2004 suffered a fire that destroyed the interior of the Church.
