Here there are several schist houses, where the roof and portals stand out. In this parish, the main highlights are the Main Church and the Misericórdia Church, the Manueline bridge, the chapels of São Sebastião and Castelo and the Pombal fountain. Local handicrafts consist of tin and lace.
This single-nave temple has a chancel covered by a Manueline vault. On the main altar, some paintings on wood from the 16th century stand out. The classification includes the tomb of the Count of Sortelha, in Renaissance style, and the main chapel rebuilt in the 16th century.

The Lousã mountain range, whose highest point is Trevim (at 1204 meters), is one of the highest points in central Portugal and occupies around a third of the municipality's area.
