A fort with an elliptic plant and walls with battlements. The remnants of this building face, to the south, the railway and, to the north, the Largo Doutor Francisco Gomes and the Rua do Albergue.

A small palace of bourgeois features, where one should notice the symmetry of the façades and the axis of the prominent main façade. One should also pay close attention to the grandeur of the atrium and the stairway leading up to the main floor, as well as the mural paintings in some of the rooms.

Built in 1912 by the merchant Manuel de Jesus Belmarço, it is a revivalist palace, with a rectangular plan and two floors, with bourgeois characteristics. One should notice the volumetrics of the corner turret, the stonework coat of the main façade and the diversity of the spans frames.
