A village composed of manors and wide agricultural estates. It one was a summer residence of the Court.

A village with granite houses and primitive farms, where the architecture and the surrounding space still have their original aspect. It is well preserved and cannot be acceded by car.

Located on a hillside next to the right bank of the Vouga river and the Thermae of São Pedro do Sul, this village stands ut for its many manors and farms. It was quite visited by the courts, namely of the queen Dona Amélia.

A group of well preserved granite manors, surrounded by agricultural lands, stand out in this village. Nearby, there is the Castro (a celtic village) of Cárcoda (Public Interest Construction), a fortified village of about 15 hectares, with its origins in the iron and roman ages.

The village is located on the foothill of the Freita, with several manors and large, well preserved and traditional farms. The monuments includes the Mother Church, the chapels of Our Lady of Bom Sucesso and Covelas, the Malafaias, Beirós, Pedreno, Fundo da Vila and Outeiro do Freixo Houses, the roman road, the crucifix and th fountains.

Located near the São Pedro do Sul thermae, in a deep valley surrounded by cliffs, with the so.called Hell Portal to the west. This villag is composed of small schist houses and narrow streets with vines. The inhabitants are farmers and shepherds, mostly corn farmers. It has one of the biggest communal goat herds in the country.

Located on the Gralheira mountain, Manhouce has typically regional houses. Most of its inhabitants are shepherds. Even though it is located inland, one may view the sea from the mountain and that may have influenced the women's clothes. It has several roman vestiges, a road and two bridges. A special note to the singing of Manhouce and to the Grupo de Cantares de Manhouce (a folk group) as well.
