Large house with two floors. It is assumed that belonged to the peer of the realm António Fragoso de Albuquerque, a native of Lisbon and Lord of the old well. Despite being private property, this House lies in ruins. Internally it is noticed that the compartments are arranged in the lobby and function of internal central staircase.

The Church consists of two volumes and by a nave, chancel and vestry. On the facade can be seen two Windows of lintel rectum and, Center, on the pediment are the Crown and the Royal arms. Inside, one of the highlights is the chancel, late-Baroque style. The hospital consists of two floors, and in the second, you can admire a tile Panel commemorating the founding of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Almeida. The interior still preserves the mortuary and a former Fund-raiser, who had direct access to the Church.

17th century Church, typology, architectural elements with secondary tea classicists. It consists of nave, chancel and vestry. On the facade there are architectural elements simulated (painted). In the side chapels there are still traces of wall paintings. The pulpit is supported by a Tuscan column. The font that saves is the primitive.

Prior to this there was another Church, medieval, of which nothing remains. The Church, as is known today, was being gradually rebuilt and reformed, mainly, in the mannerist period, when they were created several volumes. Inside, the highlights are several: the nave of five bays with wood coverage, the baptistery, the wooden pulpit and the altarpieces of gilt national style.

Taking the village of Mendo suffered several occupations, Dinis decided to rebuild and enlarge the wall around the village. This castle has suffered a blow with the war of restoration and with liberal reform, in 1855, when the County was extinguished. Subsequently entered in full decline, due to the population who used the stones of the castle to build their homes. Nowadays there are only a few traces of arched doorways and a cistern.

This castle is situated on a mound overlooking the Coa River and was one of the seven castles negotiated by Dinis in Treaty of Alcañices. It was also this monarch who delivered the letter of foral to the village and promoted the reconstruction of his Castle and Hadrian's wall. During the reign of Dom Manuel, are built several manor houses in the region, the wall was remodeled. Today, what remains of the medieval fence reduces to a door with torre and some scattered wall cloths.

It is assumed that this church was built in the 13th century or 14TH CENTURY, by the Templars. Inserted in the center of the first urban core of this parish, the Igreja Matriz de Vilar Formoso retains elements of its original building. It consists of nave, chancel, vestry and Chapel located near. The chancel has Mudejar ceiling of "alfarge" style, painted; the main altarpiece is in gilt and Mannerist structure, although, in the attic, to be visible to transition to the national style, dressing room and painted side panels. The font is the primitive.
