Original space that has the particularity to be partially installed in an old double-decker bus. Young and nice decor, ambiance that marks the difference in Águeda for more than ten years.
This space features a valuable, varied collection of furniture, sculpture, silver objects, tapestries, porcelains and paintings of the 16th to 20th centuries, in six rooms. It also has a room for temporary exhibitions that also welcomes seminars and concerts.
The choir of Águeda already has more than 90 years of history, having already gone through several national and international competitions. Casa do Adro is long established.
A typical mountain village with granite constructions. Old communal oven in the yard of Our Lady of Guia, wher there is a chapel with the same name. Its inhabitants are mostly farmers and shepherds. A special note to the chapel of Saint Domingos and to the roman vestiges.
Macieira de Alcoba is a typical village at about 18 km from the town of Águeda. Located on the high lands of the Caramulo mountain, between the Águeda river and the Alcofra brook, it includes the traditional Urgueira village (just a little more than 10 inhabitants), the highest villag in the parish. It is located on a rock, with just about 150 inhabitants that are mostly small farmers and shepherds.
