Para melhor compreender estas rochas enigmáticas, que os populares apelidaram de Pedras Parideiras, e a dinâmica do Arouca Geopark, vale a pena visitar a Casa das Pedras Parideiras – Centro de Interpretação.
The start and ending of this trail are at the Chapel of Saint Maria do Monte. It is a small trail, 13.3 km long, that lasts about three hours. It crosses the Freita mountain, accompanies the valley and the Urtigosa river, the village of Ameixieira and other places too.
A circular pedestrian walk that starts at the Moldes Mother Chruch but may be initiated at any given point since it is circular. It is around 13 kilometes long and lasts about 5 hours.
A small pedestrian walk that starts and ends at the Rossas Mother Church. It follows rural, traditional and mountain trails, for about 11 km, in about 4 hours.
A pedestrian trail on the Montemuro mountain. The departure is from the Shrine of Our Lady of the Monte (Hill), crossing the eolic park. It is a small trail along rural and mountain pathways, 19 km long, lasting approximately 6 hours.
A library located in a 16th or 15th century building. The Municipal Library of Arouca was inaugurated in 1991 and gained new services in 2001. It has an infantile section, multimedia, a multi uses room and an exhibitions room.
