O processo de confeção torna estas fatias completamente distintas e com uma textura única a que a calda confere sublime doçura. As Fatias podem ser servidas simples ou decoradas com fios de ovos.

Cidade Templária, Tomar possui tradição na confeção de doces de ovos e amêndoa com açúcar, sendo que os mais famosos e conceituados são as "Fatias de Tomar" e precisamente o "Beija-me Depressa".

The architectural heritage includes the Mother Cghurch devoted to Our Lady of the Neves (Snow), the chapels of Our Lady of Conceição and of Saint Simão and the Graja Farm with its Templars Convent. A special note to a stone dam and to the Cadaval and Caldeiraão caves as well. The craftswork includes masonry and wood objects.

A small rustic village with one floor houses, built in massif moorish bricks. Surrounded by oliv trees and fertile lands with orchards, agriculture is its main activity. On the north side there are pinewoods.

This museum opened at the hands of Américo Marques, the tinsmith born in 1931. Was the first to make the famous Coppersmith pans to manufacture the slices to take, the best known delicacy. The space is divided into two separate rooms, where you can observe objects such as almotolias, pots of slices of Tomar, crowns and doves of the Holy Spirit, Christ crosses and old stoves to oil.
