Small beach between the cliffs, that owes its name to a shepherd who lived here. To get here you may take a boat, go down the cliff or, if there is low water, you find an access through the Barranco de Canas beach.

This square that makes the connection to the shoreline has a lake and a sculpture of Manuel Teixeira Gomes in the centre. The wood garden benches are an invitation to resting and the cafes with terraces are excellent for a drink or a few tidbits in the hot summer days.
This is a walk, with the typical Portuguese pavement, that follows the dazzling cliffs at the Praia da Rocha (Rocha Beach). A belevedere is the trip's most important point, with lovely panoramic views of the beach.
