This is an Interpretive Centre the Alcazaba de Santarém, currently occupied by the Jardim das Portas do Sol, which features the oldest and most important traces of the human occupation of Santarém. The showroom has a combination of traditional showcases with a multimedia component, as well as an interactive showcase with some explanations in his own Roman ruins.

Collection of decorative arts, including painting, furniture, porcelain and other objects. Home: donations of French painter Mimi Fogt and the woodcuts of Pedro de Sousa, donated to the Foundation by Magda Avelar Pinheiro, his wife, and André de Sousa, his son.
