Inaugurado em 1930, foi construído para substituir outro mercado, demolido em 1876. Destaque para os painéis de azulejos no interior, da autoria do pintor português Pedro Pinto, datados de 1929 e, na entrada norte, para dois painéis da autoria de Rosa Rodrigues, datados de 1944.

A very peaceful, pleasant beach, surrounded by woods. A small edenic bay located on the foothills of the Natural Park of Arrábida, with soft white sand and calm crystal clear waters. There is a small backup bar.

Located by the ferryboat to Tróia. A medium sized marina, with good installations. Nonetheless, its backup infrastructures, such as shops, are either non-existing or old fashioned.

In 1990 it was sold to the Fundação Oriente and is now part of the Net of European Cultural Centres set in historic places.

This construction is dated from the 15th and 16th centuries and it belonged to Afonso de Albuquerque Family, India Viceroy. It is part from one of the most important ensembles, together with its gardens and “loggia”, from the civil architecture within this period. It is worthy to mention the azure repository.

The Pedra da Anixa is a zoological reserve, where plant and animal diversity characteristic of marine rocky shores are more evident. Is located at Portinho da Arrábida and constitutes an example of rocky outcrop between vast stretches underwater sand, checking uniqueness to this site.

This building has medieval origins and it was built in the XIII century. It was rebuilt late, on the 16th century. The fifteen hundreds façade of this temple dedicated to Santa Maria da Graça (Saint Mary of Grace), it is possible to see two bell towers. Inside, it is worth to visit the gold leafed carved altarpieces from the 17th and 18th centuries and the lateral walls covered in blue and white tiles from the 18th Century.
