It has two swimming pools, one for adults and anotheer for children, where several activities take place, such as swimming for different ages, hydro gymnastics and synchronized swimming.

Space consists of 18 tracks, housed in a children's amusement park, recommended for children and adults of all ages who want to practice this sport.

The Estrela da Amadora is most important club in the parish. Its stadium José Gomes, has 25000 seats for official matches. The dimensions of the field are 105 x 68 metres.
