Following the estradão of the plateau of Ameal and with the help of prehistoric circuit signage Chalet\/Watermill, will find a set of rock engravings in granitic rock which has cruciform motifs and simple represent anthropomorphic representations associated with, perhaps, the magic-symbolic aspects.

This Rock has a symbolic value insculturada pointed out by various legends, related to moiras, stories of ancient temples and villages, related to a megalithic monument, located near the landmark GEODESIC, which however disappeared.

Location of archaeological work in exploration.

It is a shelter under a rock in the form of pala, semicircular. Is outlined in the frontal zone, by a stone structure of six pseudoesteios, quite damaged. Inside has pavement lajeado. Location well signposted and easily accessible to any vehicle.
